These terms apply to the PinView app and this support website. By using PinView, you agree to these terms and our community rules. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Questions: pinview.support@gmail.com.
Who can use PinView
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to use the service. If you are below the age at which you can enter an agreement yourself, use PinView only with permission from a parent or legal guardian as required where you live. Do not create an account for a child under 13.
Keep your account details accurate and your login secure. Do not impersonate another person, share someone else's credentials or try to access an account without permission. Tell support if you suspect unauthorized access.
Golf content, with respect
PinView is for sharing golf clips and related discussion. You are responsible for what you upload, including audio, images, captions and comments. Own the content or have permission to share it. Get appropriate permission from people you film and respect course filming rules, private property and other people's privacy.
Do not post or engage in:
- Harassment, bullying, hate speech, threats or encouragement of violence or self-harm.
- Sexual or exploitative content, including any sexual content involving minors.
- Scams, spam, deceptive accounts, exposed personal information or unlawful activity.
- Copyright or other intellectual-property infringement, including unlicensed music or footage.
- Dangerous behavior, interference with play or content that violates course rules.
- Attempts to bypass moderation, tamper with counts, scrape abusively, attack the service or misuse another person's information.
Your content and permission to operate the app
You retain ownership of your content. By submitting it, you grant PinView a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, store, reproduce, process, display and distribute it as needed to operate and improve the service, including generating thumbnails and preparing files for playback. This permission does not transfer ownership to PinView.
You can remove your posts or delete your account. Our use of deleted content ends when it is removed from our active systems, except for necessary backup, safety or legal retention and copies already shared by other users. You are responsible for having the rights needed to grant this permission.
Share thoughtfully. Supported builds provide public/private account settings and permission-checked media playback. Private posts are for approved followers and authorized moderators; profile details remain visible. Temporary media links, previously public links, downloaded copies and caches may remain accessible after a settings change or deletion. Do not treat the app as confidential storage or your only backup.
Review, reporting and enforcement
New posts and changes to captions or shot details are subject to review before appearing to others. Review does not certify accuracy, safety, ownership or permission. We may reject, remove or restrict content, suspend accounts or end access when needed to address rule violations, legal obligations, security or harm.
Report a post, account or comment through its menu. Block an account to limit interactions. You can also email support about harmful content, a moderation decision or a suspected copyright violation. Include enough information to identify the content and explain the issue. For copyright concerns, also identify your work and your authority to act for its owner. PinView is not an emergency service.
Deletion and ending your use
You may stop using PinView at any time. To delete your account, go to Profile → Account/settings → Delete Account and complete the confirmation. If you cannot sign in, contact support from the email associated with your account. Deletion is permanent once completed and may not remove copies retained by others or provider caches/backups.
Availability and golf information
PinView may change, be interrupted or become unavailable. Keep your own copies of important files. Scores, handicaps, distances, course details and user claims may be self-reported or incomplete. PinView does not certify golfing ability, official handicaps or course conditions. Use your own judgment and follow course safety instructions.
PinView Pro subscriptions
PinView is free to download and use. PinView Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks PinView Analyzer features. It is offered monthly ($7.99) or yearly ($49.99) in the United States and Canada; prices may vary by region and are shown in the app before purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and duration unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
We may change Pro features or prices. Price changes are communicated as required by Apple before they apply to your renewals. PinView does not currently show live advertising; if that changes, we will update these terms and our Privacy Policy before it applies.
Swing analysis is a guide
Swing analysis results are estimates based on body tracking from video and can be wrong, especially with unclear video, unusual camera angles or more than one person in frame. They are general information, not professional instruction or medical advice. Use your own judgment, warm up properly, and stop if a drill causes pain.
Responsibility and changes
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, PinView does not promise uninterrupted operation or the accuracy of user content. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will publish the revised terms and effective date here and give additional notice when appropriate or required. If you do not agree to a material change, stop using the service and contact us about closing your account. Apple is not a party to these terms or responsible for operating PinView.
